Šmalcová, Kateřina
The diploma thesis entitled "Evaluation of the influence of the composition of the feed mixture on the change in biochemical parameters of the blood plasma of broiler chickens" deals with the composition of the feed mixture and its effects on the internal environment and growth performance of broiler chickens. The aim was to develop a literature search on the topic of feeding broiler chickens and the biochemical parameters of blood plasma. Furthermore, check whether the supplemented feeding doses of milk thistle (Sylibum marianum L.) and the commercially produced preparations Presan - FY and Selko pH affect the indoor environment’s growth intensity and parameters. In the experiment, 3 control weighings and one final weighing were carried out, in which the actual increase was determined. Next, blood was taken into a tube with heparin, from which blood plasma was obtained for analysis of biochemical parameters. The data obtained from the analysis were statistically evaluated and statistically significant. A statistically significant difference was noted in the concentration of total bilirubin between groups O and K (p<0.05), but also between groups O and P (p<0.01), and there was also a statistically significant difference in the concentration of glucose between groups P and O (p<0.001) and also between P and K (p<0.01). The catalytic concentration of glutathione peroxidase was statistically significant between the O and P groups (p<0.05). There was a statistically significant difference in beta-hydroxybutyrate concentration between groups P and O (p<0.001), but also between groups P and K (p<0.05). Phosphorus concentration was statistically significant between K and O groups (p<0.01) and cholesterol concentration had a significant difference between O and K groups (p<0.001) and between O and P groups (p<0.05). There was a statistically significant difference in the concentration of non-esterified fatty acids between groups O and K (p<0.001), but also between groups O and P (p<0.05). Lactate dehydrogenase concentration was statistically significant between O and P groups (p<0.05) and creatine kinase level was statistically significant between O and K groups (p<0.01). It can be seen from the work that supplementation according to the methodology of the experiment influenced the growth intensity, the results of the measurements of the monitored environment of the animals and also the parameters of the inner environment of broiler chickens.
Vliv probiotických krmných aditiv na výživu výkrmových brojlerů
SLUNEČKO, Jiří
This work deals with the effect of adding feed probiotic additives to the nutrition of broiler chickens. The aim of the work was to determine the effect of probiotic feed additives on the fattening of broiler chickens. The work was processed in the agricultural enterprise ZS Dynín a.s., where the necessary data for comparison were obta-ined. The data were always recorded for each group at the end of fattening and, after the end of fattening, the last group was sorted and compared between the groups without probiotics and the groups to which probiotic additives were presented. In this work, 3 proposals of feed mixtures were fed, which fed broiler chickens. To estimate the survival function, we used a non-parametric estimate of the maximum probability, more specifically we used the Kaplan-Meier estimate, where a higher sur-vival rate of 0.97 was found in the group of chickens that were presented with probiotics and prebiotics. Furthermore, the data were evaluated using a onefactor anova and tukey test, which compared the groups from the average weight of chickens, confiscation, average nutrient conversion and fattening efficiency index. The highest effect of probiotics was found in confiscation and IEV. The fattening efficiency index (IEV) expresses the level of fattening and is characterized mainly by its length, feed consumption per 1 kg live weight, achieved live weight and percentage of chicken deaths.
Vyhodnocení emisí amoniaku z chovu drůbeže ve vybraném zemědělském podniku
HUCEK, Jiří
This diploma thesis deals with pollutants that escape into the air during intensive breeding of broiler chickens. The biggest polluter is ammonia gas, which mainly results in the creation of the greenhouse effect and thus contributes to global warming. Many scientists are working on ways to reduce this unwanted gas, and are therefore developing modern stables technologies for all types of livestock on intensive farms. The final work evaluates the production of emissions from broiler farming. In particular, the evaluation of the annual ammonia emissions and the reduction of the production of this gas in the selected agricultural holding. The measurement was performed at the private agricultural company ZEFA Nová Pec, spol. s r. o. in the broiler chicken farm, located near Strunkovice nad Blanicí.
Vliv probiotických krmných aditiv na výživu výkrmových brojlerů
SLUNEČKO, Jiří
The main aim of this Bachelor's thesis is to describe farming of broilers and their nutrition that is focused on probiotics. Probiotics in poultry nutrition is very important after hatching. Nourishment between hatching and growing is necessary. If something is neglected in this period of time, it can have negative impact on broilers development and their production. Probiotics are revolutionary supplements that are necessary in nutrition of both animals and adults. Probiotics can be successfully used as nutrition tools in poultry feeds for promotion of growth and health of broilers.
Využití netradičních krmiv ve výživě brojlerových kuřat
Mánková, Lucie
The aim of the study was to determine effect of milk thistle seed cakes in feed mixture for Ross 308 cockerels. The effects to body weight gain, feed conversion, carcass yield, nitrogen retention and biochemical parameters of blood were evaluated. The experimental group (MT40) contained 40% milk thistle seed cakes. It was compared to control group without milk thistle seed cakes. Lower weight gains and higher feed conversion were observed in group MT40 in comparison with the control group. Lower weight gains were probably connected with lower nitrogen retention in MT40 group. On the other hand, the analysis of some blood parameters in MT40 group was favourable, because of stabilization some values. Activity of hepatic enzymes - AST (alanineaminotransferase), ALP (alkaline phosphase) and LD (lactatedehydrogenase) were related to improvement of liver profile and lower damages of other organs like as skeletal muscle.
Vliv různého podílu purpurové pšenice na senzorickou jakost drůbežího masa
Hrabal, Ondřej
The aim of this thesis has been to investigate what impact on sensory meat quality will purple wheat content have in the feed of broiler chicken Cobb 500. The chicken were divided in five groups, while each group was fed with a different purple wheat to control wheat ratio. The consequent sensory analysis of breast and thigh meat samples was carried out in a university sensory laboratory meeting the ISO 8589 requirement. According to the results of the following statistical assessment, both breast and thigh meat samples were judged as possessing better sensory qualities whenever they came from the chicken fed with some purple wheat content. Regarding thigh meat, best results were achieved in a group given 1/3 purple wheat and 2/3 control wheat. For breast meat, it was impossible to indicate the best ratio of wheat types. In general, however, it can also be stated that chicken fed with some purple wheat content reached better results than the control group did.

This diploma thesis deals with the impact of feeding the colour wheat KONINI and UC 66049 on the sensory quality of poultry meat. There were chosen young cocks of crossbred combination ROSS 308 which were devided into three groups in this experiment. Young cocks in the first group were feeded with the feed mixture containing wheat Breeze (Vánek) with the low level of antioxidants (Check, Kontrola). There was used wheat with the blue aleurone UC 66049 in the second group and wheat with the purple pericarp KONINI (Purple, Purpurová) in the third group. The experiment was terminated at the age 36 days of young cocks. The senzory evaluation was performed on the breast and thigh meat. There was found the positive effect of the purple wheat on the aroma on the breast meat, but on the other hand there was the negative effect of both coloured wheat on the chewability. As for the thigh meat, there was positively evaluated the colour in both groups with the encore of coloured wheat, the fibrillation was positively influenced by the purple wheat KONINI, but on the contrary the purple wheat negatively affected the chewability of thigh meat.

This thesis deals with monitoring the feeding of whole grain wheat to broiler chickens and evaluation of the effects of this feeding on the performance parameters of chickens and quality carcass. The monitoring also included the development of the gastrointestinal tract - weight of gizzard and proventriculus, weight of mucous membrane of gizzard, weight the of tpancreas and the length of the small intestine. Experiment was performed on 570 pcs broiler chicken of Cobb 500 hybrids in the period from 10. - 35. day of age. After 10. day of age group number 1,3,5,7,9,11 were fed a granular mixture containing the whole grain of wheat and the group number 2,4,6,8,10,12 granular mixtures as a control experiment. The chickens accepted of feed mixtures: BR2 at the age of 10. - 21. day, BR3 at age of 22. - 28. day and BR4 at age of 28. - 35. day. Into 10. day od age eat all the chickens the same feed mixture BR1. Between the control and experimental group was not statistically significant difference in live weight of chickens. Statistically significant difference wasn't between these groups in feed conversion 10. and 18. day of age. In 25. day of age was statistically significantly (P<0,05) better feed consumption for chickens in the experimental group, on average, 1520,3 g/kg, compared to the control group with the value of the feed conversion 1573,2 g/kg. At the age of 31 days was not statistically significant difference between the experimental and control group and also in 35. day of age at the end of the fattening period. There wasn‘t also statistically significant difference in weight of JUT, weight of abdominal fat, weight of gizzard, weight of mucous membrane of gizzard, weight of proventriculus and weight of pancreas. While in the evaluation of the length of the small intestine have been found conclusive statistical (P<0.05) differences between control and experimental group. In the experimental group was smaller, the length of the small intestine, in averages the males 165.5 cm and females 166,3 cm, compared to the control group, when the males had an average length of the small intestine 173,8 cm and females 169,2 cm. In the evaluation of the influence of gender on the development of the gastrointestinal tract were noted in all parts of the higher statistical conclusive differences among the males. Based on the results we can recommend the feeding of whole grain wheat as part of a compound feed without conclusive effects on performance parameters and quality carcass.

Rada, Vojtěch
The aim of the dissertation was to investigate the effect of exogenous protease (EP) in feed mixtures (FM) for broiler chickens with reduced crude protein (CP) content by 4 and 8 % on growth parameters, carcass quality, apparent ileal digestibility of amino acids and protease activity in the jejunum of broiler chickens. At the same time, the effect of EP on the given parameters was investigated at the increased level of rape seed meal (RSM) in FM. The addition of EP to KS with a 4% reduction in CP did not have a statistically significant (P> 0,05) effect on growth, conversion and feed intake, quality of carcass, nor on the apparent ileal digestibility of amino acids and protease activity in jejunum of the broiler chicken. Higher content of RSM in FM with a 4% CP reduction negatively (P <0.05) affected the protease activity in the jejunum. The addition of EP into FM with an 8% CP reduction statistically (P <0.05) increased the average live weight of broilers on the 17th and 24th day of the age. At a higher age, EP has not influenced on the live weight of broilers and the overall feed conversion. Females chickens consumed FM with 8% CP reduction had a significantly lower (P <0.05) weight of breast muscle and carcass value. Adding protease to FM with an 8% CP reduction statistically significantly (P <0.001) decreased the digestibility of Pro and Tyr (P <0.05). The EP had no significant (P> 0.05) effect on protease activity in the jejunum of broilers with FM intake with an 8% CP reduction. Higher content of RSM in FM with an 8% CP reduction significantly decreased (P <0.05) apparent ileal digestibility of Pro and significanlty (P <0.05) increased protease activity in broilers jejunum.
